Title of artwork: Overuse
“Overuse” is made with plaster copies of eye drop bottles, placed on a computer. The computer screen, repeated images of the eye, closed eye, or bloodshot eyes. The whole peace should be seen in a dark room, where the slides show lighting reflected on the many eyedrop bottles. The multiple eyedrop bottles represent the phenomenon of nowadays people over-relying on computer screens or phone screens and tiring their eyes. Using plaster(long-lasting), as representing the product(eyedrop) we believe that can let us continue our habit, however, it can also easily break, like how we stare at the screen harming our eyes.

Title of artwork:Crash
Turning steel sheets into a paper airplane, with three rods line supporting them. With burned papers and crushed plan underneath one rod. Paper airplane is something lightweight and often comes from a child’s hands. However, contracting with the steel sheets plan is the opposite of a light paper plane. Uses the steel plan to mimic the real plan, reflecting that innocent dream of a paper plane and the reality of the plan in war. I think politics wise a bit of an anti-war inspire peace work, Inspired by some children’s dream to become a pilot with good intentions; the paper represents innocent and dreams and the heavy steel represents the combat aircraft, crushing and burning the papers.
